KiteParadise Madagascar is a rad kite, windsurf & wingfoil resort dedicated to not only to kitesurf and windsurf but to kitefoiling and wingfoiling as well. It is located on the magnificent beach of Sakalava Bay, in the North of Madagascar, 20km away from Diego Suarez . The wind blows from mid-March to late December!
The flat spot is right in front of the hotel; waves are on the reef, only 600m away. You get a breathtaking view right from your room onto the kitespot, embracing Sakalava Bay. Wake up, dress up and go kitesurfing! Here, no rocks, nor coral only white sand!
Sakalava Bay is also ideal for kitefoiling and wingfoiling when the tide is high to mid-high.
Thanks to its outstanding wind conditions and its stunning beauty, Sakalava Bay has been chosen by the best kitesurfers of the world to be part of the Festikite.
We offer a variety of sleeping options in superb suites and bungalows with private bathrooms and terraces, as well as “A” shape bungalow on the dune facing the forest.
From our terrace or from the Madagascar Paradise Lounge upstairs, be inspired by Sakalava Bay legendary beauty, get tanned, join us for a jam, drinks, check out your drone footages or, on the living room TV, you can watch extreme sports playlists or take advantage of the satellite connection to watch your favorite sports!
Our restaurant and pizzeria proposes all kinds of tasty food. Its terrace, located 5m above the sea level, is overlooking the lagoon. You eat with a breathtaking view on the lagoon and the sand bar. Our menu is huge and varied. We don’t propose any full/half pension plan because we want our guests to feel entirely free to eat whatever they want, whenever they want. Thus, you’ll pay only for what you get!
No need to carry cash : your drinks and food will be added to your bill at the end of your stay.
Our laundry service is exclusively reserved for our guests. In order to propose maximum comfort and hygiene, we wash your laundry in machine with hot water.
All guests have a free access to our massage room and gym with Finnlo (Hammer) machine.

Sakalava is a quiet and shallow white sand bay near Diego Suarez, North tip of Madagascar. Windy all year round, white powdery sand, shallow waters : it's a kitesurf & windsurf, kitefoil & wingfoil gem. Our comfy kite & funboard resort aims to build it's own little community, a tribe of fellow water sports lovers to share the stoke.
Accommodation
KiteParadise is the only kitesurf and windsurf accommodation in Sakalava Bay facing the famous sand bar, allowing you to jump straight from your room onto the flat kite spot.
We offer different options of hard material bungalows (no insects!) with private bathroom: our new Chameleon Suites with mezzanines, feet on the sand, our impressive Baobab Suite have direct access to the Lounge terrace and our adorable Zebu Bungalows on the dunes..
At KiteParadise Madagascar, you also have the opportunity to be hosted in “A” shaped Maki Bungalows, tastefully furnished, facing the superb forest, in a natural space entirely protected from the wind.
Entertainment
At night join us in the The Paradise Lounge for a jam and drinks. The Paradise Bar is equipped with musical instruments and a sound system, perfect for jams and live bands in the evenings. Our facilities also include a communal terrace on the ground floor that extends the reception and restaurant area inside the building and a panoramic sundeck lounge on the roof of our kite, funboard & wingfoiling resort. We also sell some necessities as there are no shops nearby Sakalava.
The Chameleon Suites are our newest deluxe family rooms, able to host up to 5 guests thanks to their mezzanine. Private terrace and 9m windows ! Very spacious and furnished with desk, living room, ensuite bathroom.

Our Baobab Bungalows have a private terrace with 6m windows facing Sakalava lagoon. They are very spacious and fully furnished with sofa, ensuite bathroom. The view from your private terrace is absolutely breathtaking!

The Zebu Bungalows boast a 4m bay window, feet on the sand, overlooking the Sakalava lagoon. You can keep an eye out on the kitesurfing and funboarding action in the bay and jump right in. It comes with an ensuite bathroom.

When you chose to stay with KiteParadise MADAGASCAR you'll be kitesurfing WINGFOILING & WINDSURFING with a cause.
We are big advocates for sustainability and run 100% on solar energy. KiteParadise water comes from our own wells behind the dune. The water it is still slightly salted.
Our wingfoil, kitesurf & windsurf ecolodge is a hard structure covered with native materials of Madagascar such as baobao (sort of bamboo) and falafy (dry leaves) to blend perfectly with the surroundings.
By cleaning the bay and planting natives to stabilise the dunes, we are committed to preserve this wingfoiling, kitesurfing and windsurfing paradise.
